Charter

Sangha is a community of those who live with the same attitude, who live a life in common, who commune with each other. It is a community, a community of seekers on the same path, a community of those who have been in love with the same Buddha, whose love joins them together

Osho is for Everyone

During the past few years, we have become aware that the present administrators of the Osho commune, Pune consisting of the present Board of Trustees and Management Team (hereof administrators) are not working as per Osho’s guidance. They are gradually and systematically eradicating Osho’s Work and altogether degrading the character and purpose of the Osho Commune.

One instance of this is, that the number of visitors has been visibly and successively decreasing over the years, as the entry charges in the Commune got increased to Rs.900/- for Indian Nationals and Rs.1,900/- for Foreigners. Thus, as one enters the Buddha field with‘Discrimination’ is imposed on you! Despite acknowledging this decrease in visitors, we have credible evidence that, over the last few years the said administrators made many attempts to monopolize and commercialize Osho’s Work in a number of ways, both in the Pune commune, as well as around the world. Consequently, numerous litigations are going on in the courts against the present administrators in India.

It has come to our information that the present Trustees and Administrators have been siphoning money, properties and beneficial factors of the Osho Charitable Foundation in their private companies in India, US, Europe and UK. Notably the trustees are the Directors and Share holders of these companies.  And on the other hand, they have nevertheless continued, deliberately and without respite, to introduce more and more restrictive policies to discourage Osho Sannyasins entering Osho Commune in Pune.

Inspired by Osho’s teachings we declare our charter as follows:

This charter is designed to make available Osho’s Work in India and around the world. In order to bring Osho’s work in the public domain, we propose that:
